In January 2002, Nathan Francis decided to fulfill his dream of studying acupuncture in Brisbane. Come 2004, he was accepted as a member of AACMA.

Always one to give his best to the people he supports, Nathan wanted to learn more, so he headed to China in 2008 to work alongside medical doctors who practise acupuncture.

Nathan is our resident Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist. He operates from our clinic in Holland Park, Brisbane.

About Nathan …

“It was when I was 12 years of age that I first had acupuncture.

“And I decided straight away to become an acupuncturist.

“I now feel privileged to be practising this age-old natural therapy in Brisbane.”

“Besides holding a bachelor degree in Chinese medicine, I have a certificate in advanced acupuncture and moxibustion from the Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medical University in China.

“During my three months in China, I worked as an acupuncturist full-time at three hospitals, where I gained invaluable experience.

“Soon after my studies in Australia, I received the Australian Natural Therapists Association’s Bursary Award, the only natural therapist in Queensland to have received that award in that year.”

“Altogether, I have been helping people with their health and wellbeing for more than a decade.

“Being a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association means that I offer health fund rebates for in clinic appointments.

“Please don’t hesitate to contact me to find out how Chinese medicine can help you.”
