About Nathan Francis

“It was when I was 12 years of age that I decided to become an acupuncturist. I was receiving treatments for a broken arm and my GP was astonished that it healed in only four weeks. Back then, people labelled acupuncture witchdoctoring or similar. I knew from my own experience that it worked, so I wanted to find out how. I now feel privileged to be practising a natural therapy that more doctors in the West are turning to.”
“Besides holding a bachelor degree in Chinese medicine, I have a certificate in advanced acupuncture and moxibustion from the Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medical University in China. During my three months in China, I worked as an acupuncturist full-time at three hospitals, where I gained invaluable experience. During my studies in Australia, I received the Australian Natural Therapists Association’s Bursary Award, the only natural therapist in Queensland to have received that award in that year.”
“Altogether, I have been helping people with their health and wellbeing for almost a decade. Being a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association means that I offer health fund rebates. Please don’t hesitate to contact me to find out how Chinese medicine can help you.”
